Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers play a very important role at JFK Medical Center by helping us to provide high quality, cost effective healthcare to the JFK Medical Center community. They do this a number of ways. JFK is extremely fortunate to have over four hundred dedicated volunteers that share their time and talent with the Medical Center. The Volunteer Department includes adult and teenage volunteers that work within the Medical Center. Together, they provide a valuable service to our patients, their families, visitors and the communities we serve.

Medical Center Volunteers

Volunteers come from every walk of life. The majority are retired, some are college students pursuing medical careers and others are high school students doing community service. All have one thing in common, a little time to share and a desire to help.

Volunteers are included in the Medical Center's activities and social events. In addition, the an annual Appreciation Luncheon, recognition for volunteer hours, activities and many other benefits.

If you are interested in joining our Volunteer Team print and complete an online application and call for an interview or would like additional information about volunteering call the Volunteers Office (561) 548-3735.
